THE HYBRID ARCHITECTURE / PLANNED DISCOVERY CONNECTIONS

One research vertical.
Connected foundations.

Bring the Hybrid vault, identity, proof, orchestration and federation foundations into a dedicated medical research environment. Each component has a defined responsibility. Each medical integration needs its own evidence.

EXPLORE THE SYSTEM

A connected foundation.
No universal permission.

Choose a component to see its role and the boundary it must preserve.

Hybrid-ID

Establish who is requesting access.

Use accountable human and agent identities. Check professional qualification, institutional authority and task permission separately. An established account is the beginning of an access decision.

Does not grant dataset access, study participation, clinical authority or spending permission.

Vault & proofs

Bind a resource to a precise permitted use.

Connect deposits and custody records to purpose-specific release decisions. Use selective disclosure or zero-knowledge proofs for validated predicates where appropriate. Keep identifiable records and linkage keys at source.

A deposit, encrypted object or proof receipt does not establish that a research artifact is anonymized.

Hybrid Cortex

Give each task an owner and limits.

Coordinate research context, named agents, permitted tools and human review checkpoints. Bind actions to the approved purpose, input artifact, recipient and access period.

An agent must not widen the task, access new data or send context to an unapproved model.

Federation

Coordinate work across local boundaries.

Support approved execution near institution-controlled data where practical. Preserve local responsibilities, allowed locations and explicit output-release decisions.

Distributed storage or learning alone does not prevent privacy leakage through a trained model.

Read the privacy requirements

Hybrid-Chain

Record only what is safe and necessary.

Consider selected non-sensitive provenance or settlement where justified. Review metadata and linkability before any ledger design. Patient content and linkage keys remain off-chain.

No automatic spending authority and no assumption that hashing a patient record makes it anonymous.

FOUR DATA PLANES

Keep the boundaries
understandable.

The integration must preserve these separations even when the workflow feels continuous.

01 / IDENTITY PLANE

Account and professional authority

Who is acting, in which role, for which institution?

02 / CUSTODY PLANE

Protected local source records

Where do identifiable originals and linkage keys remain?

03 / RESEARCH PLANE

Approved anonymized material

What artifact may this team use for this purpose?

04 / OUTPUT PLANE

Reviewed results and evidence

What may be released, to whom and with what limitations?
