DISCOVERY TRIALS / PLANNED

Research moves forward.
People choose how.

Build the relationship between study teams and participants around understanding, specific choices and a clear privacy boundary. Participation opens a defined research pathway, never unrestricted access to a person’s records.

Follow the participation journey
PARTICIPANT FIRST

A clear purpose.
A specific choice.
An ongoing relationship.

THE PARTICIPATION JOURNEY

Understanding
before enrollment.

Each decision belongs to a particular study. Open a stage to see the intended responsibilities and limits.

Consent and withdrawal
  1. 01
    Understand the invitation

Who is running the study? What question is it asking? What activities, risks, information uses and retention terms apply? The reviewed brief must explain these before someone decides to participate.

    Boundary

The local study site remains responsible for contact and participant identity. A Vault listing does not authorise contacting contributors.

  2. 02
    Establish eligibility with less disclosure

Where a suitable proof exists, establish a necessary eligibility predicate without circulating the underlying attributes. The protocol, proof design and clinical suitability checks still need review.

    Boundary

A zero-knowledge proof is limited to its defined statement. It does not establish informed consent, clinical safety or the anonymity of an entire dataset.

  3. 03
    Make specific participation choices

Separate agreement to participate from optional future research, optional AI training and any additional disclosures. Keep consent version, purpose and the person’s choices together.

    Boundary

No preselected blanket permission. No enrollment by an agent. Consent does not open identifiable records to other clinics.

  4. 04
Stay informed as the study changes

Explain updates, contacts, corrections and how to withdraw. Enforce the applicable change on future authorised access and participation.

    Boundary

Explain which records must be retained and what cannot be recalled from released results or trained models. Do not promise universal retroactive erasure.

CONNECTED SITES, LOCAL RESPONSIBILITY

Coordinate the research.
Keep identity at its source.

A shared research question does not require a shared identity register. The planned architecture separates local participant management from anonymized research collaboration.

STUDY SITE A

Local participant relationship

Contact, identity, participation support and required local records.

Anonymized research only

Purpose, approvals and output review

STUDY SITE B

Local participant relationship

Its own accountable staff, custody and participation decisions.

CLEAR ANSWERS

Understand the
boundaries.

Is shared research data anonymized?

Yes. Anonymized data only is the required model for research sharing in Hybrid Discovery. Identifiable patient records stay with the originating custodian; they are excluded from cross-clinic sharing and third-party AI requests. Medical sharing and anonymization services are planned and must pass validation before launch. No patient data is collected or shared by this website.

Does consent allow clinics to exchange my identifiable record?

No. The Discovery research-sharing model excludes identifiable patient records from cross-clinic exchange. Study participation and optional uses remain specific; identity and contact stay with the responsible local site.

Can I join a trial or receive compensation now?

No. Trial participation and any study-specific compensation are future possibilities requiring protocol, operational and participant-protection review. No such programme is available here.
